~Raining Cats And Dogs~ Rainclouds overhead Arizona monsoon approaches Impatiently I wait... Ninety-five degrees outside Ice cream would be nice Note to self- Get some mint 'n chip Clap of thunder At last! Tiny raindrops fall Storm is underway Awesome lightning strikes Narrated by thunderous song Deafening serenade Dare I dance in the rain? Opalescent moon appears Grins at me...and I Soaking wet...smile back ~vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his |

Gee Vicky, when I was there it either rained gila monsters and dust bunnys, or tigers and great danes! You swelter or you drown---I loved it and I miss it! Thanks for reminding me. VERY nice poem. |
