The Seeker

The needle of her word sews cloth
I sometimes mix and take as broth
But never can I catch the light
That overcomes me in the night.

The phantom of my fantasy
Her condiment of ecstasy
The road and rainbows treasured goal
The pools of love within my soul

I’m taken on the wind to sea
Follow those stars that sing to me
Ever is my souls endeavor
Blindly do I search forever?

Be it here or a ghostly dim
Eternity will be my whim
I will not stop until I find
The magic that is in my mind

With wings sown within this rhyme
I'll searh o'er eternities time.

Sounds like one of those dreams that doesn't dissipate with daylight. Enjoyed.

"blindly do I reach forever..."

I certainly hope you never stop reaching...whether blind, or guided by another hand, or in full light...

YA GOT THAT RIGHT!!!

I’m taken on the wind to sea
Follow those stars that sing to me
Ever is my souls endeavor
Blindly do I search forever?

Be it here or a ghostly dim
Eternity will be my whim
I will not stop until I find
The magic that is in my mind

And take the journey in this rhyme
And journey into future time.

I really like this, the message, the flow, the feel of it is electric.

To me, though, and I seem to be alone so put this where ever you want it, the last two lines detract from the power of the whole. I don't know if it's purely because of the use of the word journey twice in such proximity or not, but I'm guessing that's it.

I especially like the lines about the light in the night!!!!!

This more or less describes what I refer to as "pursuing the horizon".  We each have a tantilizing quest, and it is the process of the search which brings fulfillment.

*sigh*

What can I say that I haven't said before about your writing, Sy? I always love it!
