In Crimson Gold

~*Marge Tindal*~

In crimson gold the sky beheld
dawning glow of morning dwell
Breath of pink 'cross azure blue
swells this day with breathless hue

Egret rises through foggy mist
spread of wing in gold is kissed
Throughout the swampy cypress bog
Sun arrests the mooring fog

Feather of the morning sound
echoes me in soft surround
Flight of cygnet o'er the lake
God is up with morning wake

Break of wave out on the sea
rolls the beauty back to me
All the earth with morning sings
song of joy that sunrise brings

Superb

As I sit here amidst the morning fog... the sun is indeed arresting it...and the birds are singing... Nicely done, Marge..

You were in my neck of the woods and didn't stop for coffee?  Oh Marge, I see this out my window every morning and you captured the same feeling I get every single day:

"Feather of the morning sound
echoes me in soft surround"

With all its morning glory it is the peace that it instills that never ceases to amaze me.  Loved this can you tell.

Reel beauty is only fin deep!
