Earth of corse!

Upset

We walked together
through the fingers of time,
like sand
and fell into the wind
and it carried us places,
as it moved through the trees
and leafs and arms.
we were in a million pieces,
you and I,
all at once.
The fingers manipulated me painfully
and no tree was left untouched.

This is a nice descriptive poem.  Lots of good imagery and detail.  It also leaves a sharp kind of pain...

first, your screen name is my family name.... "samia"... before my grandfather changed it....

but that's nothing to do with the poem just something that's part of me *shrug* and attracted me to your post...

the poem was succinct with well constructed images and i'll look forward to reading more... nicely done.... thank you for the read

Wow, great imagery.  Felt like I was there.  Well done!
