Should you teach your child
The sign for peace and love
Or the skull that is danger,
To share your hopes with all
Or never talk to strangers.

Should you teach your child
To go and preach the Word
To shout it far and nigh,
Where any that may claim it
Would surely have to die.

Should you teach your child
That all is being measured
Do good and you’ll be blessed,
Yet the sinner crucified
Has found eternal rest.

Should you teach your child
That he must follow you?
Or seek God to be his Father,
If we lead them all to Christ
Would these matters bother?

Oh,Walt~
I love the parent in you~
The greatest job we ever have is teaching our children.
Many decisions to be made on a daily basis.
And ... we never have all the answers, do we ?
So many times ... we learn right along with them.

Walt-
I can't help it...I have to echo Marge.
I just love this part of you too!
Your children are extremely blessed to
   have a daddy like you.
   Parenting is definitely a learning
experience, and it's so wonderful to see
a parent who CARES enough to learn.

   hugs,
