       Ode to pain

  To thee whom souls embrace
warm and welcome, comforting
         friend.
Wallow in the myre of dense
muddled sorrow filled bogs.
Reason of reason,   shallow
season where energy's waste:
Yet to thee, no refrain for
death,  in thy coffin await.
   Willing acceptance for
tomorrows pain;  unforgiving
relentless pursuit of shame.
   Wanton lament to thee.
anguish,      eternal sorrow
