There is a war
within me glowing
upon each side
the numbers growing
troups amassed
behind the line
of the "me"
not yet defined...

There is rage
that grows in me
THE BOMB--
a detonation's peace...
the knowing that it is the end.
May bodies fall in death, defend,
enscripted
No, I did not choose
to wage a war
where both sides lose...

Unlikely soldier, that I am
planting daisies in the sand
with but my tears to water roots--
I pray that I will never shoot,

for in the eyes of enemy,
I spy the fear of death in me.

===================================

sometimes we are backed into corners where we have to fight to define who we are
once we figure out who and what that is...
Im thinking it will be...take no prisoners...
kicking butt and taking names...
Im betting on you me twin...
your a survivor...
AND? one HELL of a poet.
me

slow burn ...
light a candle for our love
So that we will always be
one on one in lovely love

Take a step back...go for a long walk...clear you mind...then decide what to do. Trust in your instincts. And take care of YOU.

the inner war that we all must deal with, sometimes daily. . . who wins??

some would say that the strongest wins. . . but there are times where I'm not so sure. . .

I loved the flow and the images in this one, particulary "THE BOMB", which gives importance to the one thing that is there for all of us. . . the one thing that "blows up" our lives. . .
