I pulled on my pantyhose
It ran faster than a gazelle
I slipped into my penny loafers
So quickly that I fell

My skirt split up the left side
My blouse lost the collar
What else could go wrong?
Can you hear me holler?

The battery on my car has died
The key broke off in the door
Triple A has turned me off
And now it's starting to pour

My house key is locked inside
So into a window I crawl
I fall into the kitchen sink
And stagger into the hall

The dog thinks I’m a crook
So he grabs me by the heel
I trip and fall onto the floor
Can't believe this all is real

I try to call my boss at work
To tell him I'm not coming in
But the phone line is dead
This is a game I'll never win

I lay back on the bed and cry
Not knowing what to say
Suddenly I realize
Today is Saturday!

rofl-- As they say-- It could be raining..lol

LOL, you need breakfast at McDonalds. This reminds me of an ad they had.

Thanks for the laugh SHaron, I truly enjoyed.

And I thought my day was a crazy one. ha! Lord, just stay under the covers! lol
This is really a cute poem, and I really needed a good laugh today.
I misplaced my car keys once, and found them in the frig. It was downhill the rest of the day.
