Sinking

The pain is too deep
I feel my heart breaking
Sinking in the depth of torment
Where do I go?
I long for the voice
That caresses my heart
The flavor of desire equal to no other
The warm glow of laughter
And a smile so bright
The eyes that see all of me
And love me anyway
I yearn for it
Tears fill my eyes
Wishing for the desire again...

Longing is a craggy precipice from whose view is distant lonely, Love a fertile valley
where everyone wishes to be. It's an arduous hike not a wistful flying leap which will take us from one to the other. Try and enjoy the changing view along the path. Thoughtful write.

"Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve"

I like your perspective on this....think of it more as a journey I am taking to acheive the ultimate love...the love of christ

Cindi-
   You've expressed the emotions well,
and the desire WILL come again..
   Nicely done..

This is full of feeling well written and well expressed.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
