Moonlight And Lace
~*~
Moonlight and lace glowing in a haze of wonder
draping the night with mysterious innocence
stars falling in love shower with pulsing thunder
as love blooms in the light of passions moon

Basking in the warmth of  breathless adoration
loneliness scatters in the tranquillity of ease
silver starlight’s burst in magical whispering
a calm surrender bids us to stay

Heat of a rolling wind melts reluctant wishes
moments are cherished as a final sweet pain
a chance in the palm of tomorrow’s dream
freedom found in yesterdays scheme

Treasures blossom in fields of sunrise hope
rain becomes gentle at the very thought of you
covered in unforgettable webs of moonlight lace
wrapped in this forever heavenly place

Vicky~ Thank you. I had to drag my muse out of an unconscience state of mind to write this. It wasn't easy.
I prefer watermelon and spittin seeds.   *Hugs*

While I enjoyed this very much, I am looking towards your watermelon, seed-spitting poem.

Victoria~ Thank you. Guess she has been the recluse hiding under my bed, popping into my dreams.

Decaflame~ Thanks much.

BloomingRose~
Oh ... how lovely !

'rain becomes gentle at the very thought of you'

This line is simply stunningly elegant.
Nicely done, poetess.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ....... now THIS is poetry and hey, you even loaded it with wonderful imagery.  Very well written and very inspiring.  The title was perfect, the flow excellent, and the images bring a smile to my that I am sure will last the night.
