Dreamscape

Lady luna illuminates wishes with her brush
cascading satin twilight of sleep's tranquil hush
paradise of heartbeats in magical realm are born
heated by yearning of mystic moon's adorn
in fragrant place where desire and reality are one
an Eden of ecstasy where night makes love to sun
sands of amaretto passion pause mortal time
enraptured lips savour fate's ambrosia wine
intoxicated imagination...embracing destiny
I swim your seductive stare of chocolate mahogany
a willing prisoner of pre-scripted love reprise
waltzing on waves of innocence in deep exotic eyes
draped in shower sprinkles of thunderous mystery
as rolling winds of wonder whisper splendor symphony
entwined strums of skin leap with amber leaves
in tune with butterfly ballet on piano breeze
blush of sighs trace ebony and ivory keys of sky
resonating on wisp of wing on bejeweled firefly
awash over dreamscape of kismet fantasies
basking in silken folds of angelic melodies
sailing on the nectar flowing through our veins
on waterfalls of romance in dewdrops of champagne
this true bond is the enchanted taste of elation -
a gem of treasures found in celestial constellation
freedom is held in this heavenly rush of grace
enwrapped in delicate dazzle of starlight lace
dancing to love on kisses in eternal euphony
soulmate of slumber, you are my greatest harmony

Exstreamly beautiful and very romantic. Do you write books, I would like to know. All of the women I know love love stories.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Melissa,

Ohhhhhhhh I am so glad I did NOT miss this new poem of yours.

WOW! Breath taking...once again!

I too love the lines mentioned by the readers who posted comments before me, but here are some more that especially spoke to my heart.

"in fragant place where desire and reality are one"

Ohhh so true, the sense of smell is very much a part of a romantic experience.

I also loved the references to adult beverages throughout the poem:

"ambrosia wine"
"dewdrops of champagne"

and my very favorite one -
"ameretto passion."

The drink, Ameretto, does indeed go well with the "taste of elation."

Still smiling and thinking about this delightful read!

I second the previous WOW! This was the tastiest love poem I have read in some time. Your images are wonderful. I want to place myself directly in the middle of that dreamscape.

Okay......so when did you become so prolific in your romance poems?  Have I been gone that long?  This was beautifully written and composed and holds all the attributes in poetry that I so adore.  Imagery is outstanding (Fantasmagical actually), the flow is superb and of course the romance flawless.  I applaud you with much enthusiasm.
