She does not fall easily in love
and discovers someone hiding in her soul
someone lurking in the shadows
waiting for love to take its toll
long stem roses are a fantasy
and cozy dinners with a finger bowl

Love like gravity falls slowly apart
this man had only lust in his heart
Does she regret not passing him by?
like a dark cloud in the sky

Sweet words broke down barriers
wanton love and caged desires
He had that special something
those qualities she adored
the whisper of his voice
held the key to her bedroom door

Her heart sang like a baby grand
Just the thought of a rose in his hand.

Every child is an artist. The challenge is to remain an artist once he grows up.

                                            Pablo Picasso

This is very nice. I enjoyed reading it.

There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar.

No, never regrets, hon, not for loving someone. I feel this poem, in so many ways.

I loved this one, fantastic poem I am sure many can relate to, I know I could!

~ Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance ~And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance ~ I hope you dance. (Lee Ann Womack)
