Encompassing

in a perfect world
a utopia, comprised
of a little mystery
a little surprise
I would also include
God, and fate
and all my whys
would then relate

magic and miracles
in sweet surround
would tether me
like a balloon
encompassing
all around

some sleight of hand
lifting weighty demands
a smile’s surprise
behind loved one’s eyes
and before you think
my mind’s done blinked
yes I know still here
would be great loss
and some real fear

for we cannot have
a true romance
even in a utopian
dance
that something doesn’t
comprise
the swell of tear
to our eyes

but I would align
magic and fate
to God and miracles
in my equate
so that, upon my whim
I could send you
the greatest grins

so that I might
encompass your
sweet bliss
with something more
than love’s
light kiss

Or even in a near perfect world....
Very nice poem

There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar.

Oh I liked this part:
but I would align
magic and fate
to God and miracles
in my equate
so that, upon my whim
I could send you
the greatest grins

Sounds like this world to me... (given the "right" frame-of-mind...)

Flowing and intriguing, my Lady.

My heart pounds heavy with these words, your heart sounds full of giving and of hope, you pen well words of wisdom and romance.
Very well written Lady in White.

All encompassing indeed.  There is no such thing as fate;  only God's will.  But we poets will write of fate and happenstance because it is (1) easier, and (2) more readily accepted by the "masses."
