Stately line,

blue grey wall
sliding across
and under darker
grey above
brings rain.

Big drops

that plop and pop
in strobe light
lightning

Gailed trees bend
as now brown grass
undulatingly runs
across field

then it ends...

slowly fading...

and I think of
how like passions
  passing reign

if I were to reply to this, it would have to be along the rhymes of

clouds loom
heat zooms
thunder cries
rain tries
sizzles die

A clever and unique description:

as now brown grass
undulatingly runs
across field

Enjoyed the pictorial.

Very well written, Capt, Stormy weather, I like it when it's wetter.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
