Smite me where I stand. My pen is dead, all my words to be left unsaid. I have half a heart, my tounge is dry. The muse has said her last good-bye. My parched throat mute, my stylus lost, my ink is sur ly run i g lo . |

Hopefully this isn't a "farewell to poetry" Because you do so well with it and it would truly be a shame to but such skill to waste. But then again I know what you mean I stopped writing for awhile then all of the sudden I realized, I do want to write, even if people don't choose to read it or not. The frustration is worth it though because it doesn't matter what other people think. All that matters is the fact that you wrote something that you enjoy, that you believe you worked hard at. No, this is probably not the last poem I'll write. It's merely just something I wrote out of frustration because well, I couldn't write. Unrequited love sucks. |
