I see the future in your eyes There is no way to disguise The way I feel deep inside No longer do I have to hide I lose myself in pools of blue As I gaze at the whole of you Your wish is my command The moment you take my hand Leading me from this place Where I shall wake to your face No longer crying out into the night You have rescued me from my plight Goodness and mercy will prevail The moment you lift my veil Embarking on a lifetime together Joined forever no matter the weather I will stand by you for all time Even when we’re past our prime We’ll sit and laugh through the days As together we count the many ways The Lord has blessed the two of us Basking in this bond of trust Never a need for us to lie Or ever have to say good-bye A love like ours shall endure Because it’s so very pure Built on honor and respect We both vow to always protect The sanctity of our bond From this day and far beyond Nothing can ever come between A king and his rightful queen They shall prosper in the land Walking along hand in hand Pledging to each their very heart What better way is there to start All writing comes |
