The journey home
frought with peril
speculation, misgivings
has taken lightyears
to accomplish
your arms open
to recieve me
but I find my place
occupied by another
you say, "this spot
is just as choice as
the other"
but I cannot accept
anything less than
promised
If I must go this time,
know that I will not return
I shall make the journey
past the moon
in search of a dream
once called Jupiter...

Well now RT... this one seems indeed to be part of something..perhaps one of the series you have done? I enjoyed!! as usual.. but can feel like there is so much more to the story and knowing you... figure you have written it.

*chuckles*  No,Captain, no story written for this at all. Rather, this poem is symbolic of events in my life.  Also, the date's all wrong. I wrote this today. Silly me! :-)

ah well.. then you should write more..and weave it into one of the series you do so well... for it is a gem...

How is the weather on Jupiter these days anyway? ( grinning)

Personally my friend. . . I don't see how your place can be occupied by another. . . surely the place that you're going back to has always been waiting for one such as you. . .

Wonderful from your heart. . . good to see you again. . .

Hey Tier...great title for this...excellently descriptive write...I love it!

it was love that first drew me,
it is love that will keep me here...
now I see love burning brightly
when everything else is unclear...
