Dilemma

My heart is gone from here
yet I cannot seem to leave
it’s an old pattern
not one I always admit to
I hate change
truly detest movement from my norm
a set schedule
routine
order
reason
accountability
all is gone from here
yet I cannot seem to leave
what would I do with the time
walk the dog
do the dishes
make a phone call
write a real letter
sit outside by the fire
go out with friends
hear some music
dance until the band grew numb
lie in a bath surrounded by candles
read Zola until my eyes burned
drive country roads with the top down
inhale midnight’s cool air
watch late night TV
go to sleep before two
wake up early and wonder
what will I do
with the time.

nice... captures a passing of time and ideas..leaving us to ponder how we spend our time as well..

Love this one. Change is inevitable, we evolve with time regardless of our wants. That's our humanity.

i can certainly relate to this one!

and when each day is done, since it was the first one of the rest of my life, why is it over with little accomplished...because I'm spending time spending it

heh heh an acquaintance of mine made the remark yesterday, that even on days she loafs, she gets an early start

Oh my...it WAS you in the mirror ...
damn, those two lines just lift of the page at me.
one day at a time...thats what they keep telling us ...some days seem much too long.
thought provoking write JLR...
thanks, take care
jm

only you could give love that satisfies the soul...
see the darkness of my heart and still won't let me go.

Cpat Hair---Thank you for thinking about what I have written and rescuing me from midmorning oblivion.
Seymour Tabin---Thanks, I appreciate your response.
walker---Love the smiley.  Always appreciate the short, direct speeches!  Ha!

VAS---You crack me up...thank you!
JM---One day at a time...saw through that one first 24 hours, back before the days got so long.  Glad you recognise me.  Thank you.

Time ... a friend if used wisely and an enemy if wasted.  Well done.
