~* Crystal Clear Tears *~

So all alone in her own world she stayed,
Years have passed; nothing of her life she's made.
Hiding away in senseless fear, so scared,
Self inflicting pain, believing no one cared.

She cries herself to sleep each night,
And nightmares she continues to fight.
How sad, she lives alone inside that shell,
That place she knows and guards so well.

She would never let a single soul inside;
A butterfly, but in a cocoon she’d hide.
So cautious, keeping everyone at bay,
Dwelling on pain from a long gone day.

She’ll go on forever, locked in pain,
A fractured heart never to smile again.
She’s lost all hope, and sits there crying,
Down deep inside, her soul’s slowly dying.

She crys crystal clear tears of jade,
That harden her heart and never will fade.
I wonder if someone will ever get in,
To capture her heart, make a new life begin?

If and when I see her on the street one day,
I'll send a warm smile or greeting her way,
I don’t know her story, or where’s she been,
But she’s the saddest beauty I've ever seen.

Ladies, Thank you.  I wrote this for Serenity as her favorite of mine is Crystal Tears of Jade, so I tried to do a spin off that one for her.  Again, thank you?

Thank you all for your kind words and hugs for Karen.  Serenity, once your wings are unfolded you will fly with that beautiful soul of yours, and I do send my love to you.

Serenity, that poem is the opposite of my one wish for you, and I know it will come true, and a beautiful butterfly will soar in a cellophane sea of happiness soon!  Hugs again, sweet one.

You are a beautiful person and this truly touched my heart more than you could ever know.

Ah Sharon ... you've captured the essence of the emptiness one finds in a tortured soul beautifully in this piece. A hauntingly emotive piece, very nicely done my friend.

Best wishes,
/Kit

I certainly hope this is only a picture and not a prognostication.  She is much too valuable not to find hapiness again.

Insightful write indeed ... and, well done.

Kathleen ~ Thank you for your kind heart as well.

Kit ~ It usually takes one to know one, and pain is universal, thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

Interloper ~ She will fly as a butterfly again soon, just like a crysallis takes time for a butterfly to emerge, she needs that time at her own speed, but knows we all love her that is for sure!  I did not write this about her, but for her!

Titia ~ You're pretty darn sweet yourself, did you know that?
