You my love are my breath of fresh air
the colors of my rainbow
my diamond in the rough
and the one who touches my soul
so delicately and so exquisitely
Your love is like a mirage in the desert
such a welcoming sight to this weary traveller

You are the jewel in my crown
the bird in my paradise
the lily in my valley
the star in my constellation
the burning ember in my fire
and the one my heart desires

How our bodies burn with such passion and desire
only to be cooled by love's tranquil waters
How easily we immerse ourselves into love's pool
and become totally swept away by its sensual sea
There is no turbulence here
only the calming waters that
soothe the mind and free the soul

How easily and willingly we lose ourselves
in our own piece of paradise
in our own precious moment in time
and in one another
