No I won’t leave you alone,
I don’t care if you cry and moan.
For a poem from you, for all see,
is all that matters at all to me.
Bring that muse from vacation back,
for the lazy thing has been too slack.

I know that you have locked so much inside,
Here is the key you tried to hide.
I found it rusting by the gate,
so I cleaned it up before too late.
I oiled it carefully for you to use,
and giving it to you instead of that muse.

I want to hear what you have to say,
for your flowing words would make my day.
Don’t throw you hands up so high,
all that does is make me sigh.
So unless you want me to bug you to death,
pen some words to make me hold my breath.

Logan, I don't know who this is for, but it would surely inspire me to get writing again.
Very sweet, too.

Logan, your poem is very touching. Trying to help others get back in the swing of things. I'll bet it helped. How could it have done anything but help  Thank you

Every poet here is going to say "this is for me....he wrote this for me...." and print it off and put it in that special Keeper place...a binder, a folder, a box of Keepers and it will always remain at the top, with the golden key glistening....

calling to the Muse....

and promising their heart that they will pen one back, just for you....

A word as important as the thoughts behind this poem -- care.  You fill this word with meaning, Logan, and it comes across in your writings and replies.  Congradulations on the positive ripple you've started.

You've touched a lot of writers with this lovely piece Logan. You've captured the want and need for return very nicely in this piece, well done!  I do hope all of these muses will return from vacation soon.

Best wishes,
/Kit
