I said I would try to make a poem a nice one for my thousand posts And now I sit here thinking I wrote and wrote did erase it all for I did not know what to write about Silly because there are thoughts in my mind so many words but they just spin around spin in my head I met you guys you called me a poetess in your replies I thought Why Am I a poet because I can make words rhyme when I take the time Am I a poet because I trust inner need to a papersheet It's you who called me poetess nothing more and nothing less Maybe I should spent more time If I wish this verse to rhyme But time my friends is very odd It can't be lend it can't be bought What time we have is never sure so spend it well and spend it pure I took my share on Passions here the place that grew me very dear See how you all inspired me to write this little verse for thee A thousand posts is just a start for long I hope will I take part I want to thank you sweety Ron for all that caring you have done And to my Passion friends so dear If I wasn't a poet I wouldn't be here A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... Congratulations! It's amazing you're already at 1000, don't you think, it seems you just came. I too was most impressed and touched with the same stanza as JM...the one about trusting inner self to papersheet. That is truly what we do, and then we put it out there for all the world to see, should the world come by. Oh my!  |
