  The Challenge

Interlopers Favourite Poem by Himself ( or one of them )

clouds forming darkly
lightning strikes while thunder rolls
rain falling earthward
~*~
trees offer branches
welcoming life giving rain
nourishment embraced
~*~
leaves spin with the breeze
frolicking in aftermath
clouds lift and sun shines
---------------------------
*My Re-write ( the challenge )*

Leaves turn upside down
anticipating the rain
thus far only clouds

life embraces rain
lightning offers a quick death
trees reach up for both

thunder rolls away
following after dark clouds
sun shines in their wake

*my apologies to interloper..lol
