A moment’s life

this
I have lived
with you

if this is
all I have,

then

it was ours

yours ~
mine ~

us

~*~

perhaps I should
stop now

for what more
could be said

you gave me this
glance ~

this touch

this…

real

how could I not wrap
up tomorrow
into yesterday
today

how could I not
say

thank you

you were but a
moment’s brevity

a bit of breath

a thought of wind

unwinding in my mind

you came and left

a wink

in time

and I wonder if you
were real

yes

you must have been…

I still smell you…

on the wind

and your embrace still
takes up my
face

Illusive moments of Love, which should last forever- but sometimes disappear as quickly as they arrive. How nicely you expressed the feel of such.

(sorry, couldnt resist)
this is lovely in its longing and passionate plea. Sometimes a brief breeze can be the wind beneath our wings for as long as we need it to be.
And sometimes things come back to us on a second wind

only you could give love that satisfies the soul...
see the darkness of my heart and still won't let me go.

Very well expressed indeed, I like the different structure to this as well.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.
