where the sky and horizon meet

Round and round,
look at 'em go!
Those butterflies are twitterpated.

Without sound
they perform a show
that has been much anticipated.

They dance and dance
on through the air
as I watch them from up above.

I'd like a chance
in which to share
such a carefree and joyous love.

Nature holds so many joys, I've often wanted to be a dragon fly. I loved your poem.

Do not fear going forward slowly,
Fear only standing still.

I think this is a very cute poem and well written. One can see the dance of the butterflies while reading it.

Thanks for sharing.

lovely, lovely...you took me back to our last concert in the park when the butterflies seemed choreographed to the music of the symphony, it was awesome and delightful--you've definitely woven a butterfly scene wonderfully!

big points for rhyming "twitterpated" and "anticpated"  LOL

wonderful. . . free-flowing and very playful. . .
