Brown-Eyed Susan's

~*Marge Tindal*~

In fields of green with golden hues
Brown-Eyed Susan's grow
Sweet bouquet in soft array
Brings sunshine smile emitting glow

Hugged in arms of gentle giving
Presented in gifted surprise
Lit with wonder and delight
Reflected in those soft brown eyes

*Today my little neighbor brought me a bouquet ...
Thank you, my Brown-Eyed Susan~

Marge:  This is so tender!  Being given a gift of flowers by a child, who has picked them just for you, is a precious gift.

Those bouquets, given by little brown-eyed neighbours are always the most beautiful, aren't they.

Logan~
You've got me pegged !
I'm a softie - especially where kids are concerned.
Is there anything sweeter than the gift of a child's friendship ?
Nah ... they are magic !

Saunni~
She is just exactly that.
A thoughtful little girl who is such a delight in my life.

Thank you !

I saved my 2400th post just for you Susan, and for Marge's beautiful black-eyed susan poem (was waiting and waiting to be the 24th comment, but no luck!)  Your poem showed the love of acceptance in the gift and the giver, and I loved it and
I love black-eyed susans too!
