Catching The Wind
By: Noah Eaton
7/9/01

Spreading my wings, I confront the prism gale
Colors of the wind passing through me, breathing easy
We are all saints of the wind, born to perceive the voice of eternity
The Wind is our valiant companion, like a child begging for your faith’s candy

We’re all wolves within, hunters of clerisy
Howling to the moon is but a solution to every nobleman masque
Thirsting the light of reckoning, opening eyes to millions of new relatives
The Wind is what attaches us living spirits together, man and spirits pact

In catching the wind, one must hold ones ambition without restraint
Welcoming the effects of change through the seasons, evaluating your chances
Cracking the code of this enigmatic divinity with your own sense of judgment
Comparing orchestrations with songbirds, comparing earthly melodies

Our mean deviation is our own indecision
Rapid eye movement envisioning multitudes of derivations
To piece together these delaminated visions of wonder
Building the greatest love from these words of the Wind

They come and go, high and low
Many within reach, others will be yours to achieve
These many inspirations are shared to all the friends of the earth
Piecing together the greatest hearts that we succeed to dream

May we capture the wind, wherever it may blow
Imagine all the many blessings you've already found
Spread your wings and rise into His waft
How does it feel this time around?

I agree with Ron......a clever word play ....but there is also deep philosophy and powerful images....

I can almost hear the wind howling....

Thank you
