*Thanks to Severn for the Challenge*

quiet candle in evening’s eclipse

prayer sent across plane of spirit
asks solace for a single essence
departed from its betrothed

spherical melodies unite unseen
forming in tessaracts of elemental purity
untouched by tendrils of life

passions flow through imagination
souls dance across relativity
to the lyre of celestial beings

there, you and I cease to be
we become the union of each other
we enter and share one vessel

quiet candle in evening’s eclipse
star of love in galaxy of eons
to you I pledge beyond this emotion

betrothed, we know eternally

Thanks to everyone. . .

Severn's challenge was to write a poem "using no colour imagery at all...but expressing an emotion.."

I took that a little beyond with this, and tried to write a poem that had little or no visual references at all. . . the idea of two loves, two hearts, separated, but still reaching out, still joining, still loving, even through time and storms. . . hopefully, I've done that here. . .

VAS, thank you. . . if only there was one to listen to them. . .

Capt Hair, thank you my friend, always nice to see that you enjoy my work. . .

into2B, it does, doesn't it???     thank you. . .

SmittenKitten, thank you so much!!!

Charisma, so, that means I'm getting better right??     Thank you my friend. . .

Enchanted Melody, I really don't know what kind of ending I'd like to see. . . perhaps time will tell. . . thank you. . .

Sandra, I've always had this side. . . it just comes out more around here. . .

Saunni, I have to teach you how to write like this??     Only if you show me how to write like you my friend. . . thank you. . .

JLR, thank you. . . glad that you enjoyed. . .

Temptress, no. . . you didn't mention that it's good. . . . . . lol. . . thank you so much!!!

BC, thank you Sir, high praise coming from you. . .

Interloper, well Voice of the Southland, I'm sure that we could make a trade. . . but, I'm sure that no one would believe that I could write like you. . .

vandana, thank you my friend!!
