fog

words echo through my mind,
like so many recited scripts,
in a world where the actors,
are as real as the characters.

clearing the fog,
steping into the light,
i'm sorry to say,
i stand beside myself.

and hand in hand,
with my greatest fear,
decend on down
a path obviously unknown.

screams of careless warning,
barely reach my ears.

my head throbs in anger,
my throat burns with pain,
blood trickles down a lonely face.

i don't believe the words you say.
i can't believe the words you say.

falsified concern,
and erupting fear.
displaying a simple smile
just before siniking into the dark,
and dissapating into the warmth of the fog.

confused among strangers,
lost amongst myself.

Joline, Welcome to Passions!  A good first entry, I have never known fog to be warm, but now I want to find some just like that...

Please, take some time to look around, get acquainted, read some wonderful poetry, and make this a poet's home for yourself!  And, please check your e-mail for a special message!

I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Welcome Joline, and when the fog clears up you'll find us here, waiting for your poems.

One thing: keep an eye on your spelling/typing (ha ha that advice coming from me, will give my fellow friends here a big   on their face, why? just look at the place I'm living and you will understand)
