The 23rd will make seven years that my father died. I want to post a poem a day for him until that day. This poem here will be in the news paper for him.

GOD HELP US WHEN THE RAIN COMES DOWN

Today we will remember you like you are really here
And today we will feel the seven missing years
This is when our hardest hour is around
So, God help us when the rain comes down

Just like the wind we dont see but feel
You are everything in us that's real
So, when we call for you and hear no sound
God help us when the rain comes down

From every sunrise to the stars at night
You were and still are the most beautiful light
To know we've lost you it is the darkest cloud
So, God help us when the rain comes down

On an angels wings to the touch of Jesus hand
That was when our loneliest days began
In our memories is where our comfort is found
So, God help us when the rain comes down

This makes me think of something that a friend once said to me...Never miss a chance to say "I love you", never be afraid to show it, and treasure every moment you have for you never know what life will bring you.

This is beautiful, makes me appreciate a lot of things in my life.
