This stillness is void of sound
only the echo of memories remain

Who was it that stood in this silence
what thoughts transpired
shall they remember
when the darkness surrounds
when the wind whispers
their name

In a dance of chance
shall they meet again
in
swirling vapors of mist
illusions
as mystical as smoke
as life itself is

Yet, for one brief moment
in eternity, a minute span
in a distant reality
They touched, the souls smiled
in recognition, as ancient eyes
beheld a whiteness of truth

And they shall not, they can not
forget

Well I think your tone of voice is going to be appreciated a great deal on this end.

Very nicely done. Had to read it twice..once as I usually do, then a second time to slowly enjoy..

Hauntingly appealing and waifting...  Even visually becoming in form.  A warm welcome to you, and kudos to a very nice write.  I'll look for more from you.
