When I look at my reflection
what is it that I see?
There is nothing but a blank face,
it's staring back at me.

I feel so little any more
I don't know if I care what will be,
there is just a blank face
that keeps staring back at me.

Deep inside of this heart
there is no love, it can not be,
because when I look in the mirror
there is a blank face, it's  staring back at me.

All of this caring seems to be gone
there is nothing that I can see,
there is just this face in the mirror
emotionless, it stares back at me.

There is nothing left to give.
Why is it you can not see?
Do you see my reflection in the mirror
as it just sits there staring
......staring back at me?

Donna~

Well expressed with a simple, yet, effective rhyme scheme full of sad emotion, I can relate~

Take care,

I have felt this way for oh so long. So I threw away that mirror and am now feeling renewed.

Perhaps, try looking at a picture -- a snapshot of you from a different, happier time -- instead.  When this triggers positive memories, notice that you can still feel, and with that, realize that a change of input results in a change of output...  Although this poem projects solemn despair, the subject is transformable with a little desire and effort...  Well expressed, though.
