another day of sorrow
is trying to weasel in
I'll just turn this 'puter off
to keep away from grim

it wants to whittle at my heart
scraping tears from deep within
and I'm not going to let it
enough's enough my friend

Hé VAS what's up? Sorrow?, tears?, turning off your computer?

Where is the smile on your face
What happened to those happy days
Try a smilie   now and then
And if you want a HUG just tell me when

do not read the grim
read only of love and joy
happiness attained

thank you all, I'm just pathetically impatient

no job, plenty I could be doing but I want to write and be read

I've spent a great deal of time reading lately, but when I let impatience start working on me I have a difficult time seeing what I'm reading, therefore commenting sensibly gets tough, too

then I start wondering what's wrong with what I wrote, then I think the sensible thing to do is get away from here and do something really constructive

but I wanna do this!

yes, pathetic, huh

Anyway, took some applications around and learned of two jobs 30 miles from home...fine all but winter . I do need to stop being a sub teacher though, need more dependable work.  Wish I could make a living with my writing.

I think I'll enter an Eeyore contest...woe is me

now tomorrow, I'll probably be flying high and no one will be able to contain my enthusiasm for life

who knows, maybe even tonight since youse guys are being so attentive and encouraging

heh heh heh...maybe I should look for my "Pity Party" poem, it should make me laugh and put it all in perspective

You may never make a living from your writing, VAS, but you may make a life of it.
If you feel compelled to write, then you must, of course, for whatever reason.
You could have the converse problem - - - full time work, commute, and wishing you had all that time to write.
Cheers!

Hey VAS... Grim you say... well I say grab an E... throw it on the end... make some grime and bring on the four-oh-nine!  I'm sure we'd all like to make a living from our writing, but unfortunately Ron doesn't pay for our posts.  Oh well... keep hitting the bricks and if you ever need and E, I've got a few eeeeeextras floating around here somewhere.  Peace! Oh... and thanks for looking in on my post.
