The night grew still and dark appeared
The fear of everything settled in
I sat alone
By the fire pit
and thought.
You appeared
from out of nowhere
Your arms wrapped tightly around me
I felt your lips brush my neck
and I smiled.
Worried thoughts
disappreared for a moment
as I got lost in your touch
remembering
Thinking of the last time I had anything
anything quite this real
Or is it?
Would this new found love,
this new security
Would it all be gone by the morning light
Or would we hold on with all we have
to save each other from the past
At last we had found something
But it was never supposed to be with each other....

Thank you all so much for your replys.
It's looking like this one may turn out to be THE ONE, the funny part is that for years I saw him only as my friend, my closest friend, the person I set up with all my girlfriends and now I see him as a completely different person.
