Like the slowly falling petals of the last summer rose So have you slowly fallen out of love with me The petals fall softly one by one and are soon taken away by the Autumn winds Our love has all but died as the final remnants of love's existence blows away Taken away like the wind carries the leaves to a destination unknown There is no joy to be found here in this place It is a long way until the next warming rays of the Summer sun Maybe the warm winds will be kind to me then And bring a special love my way?
