I've been writing poetry since I've been able to write. I find it a good way to express my thoughts and feelings. Since I've been writing it, I've saved all of my poetry. while going through my old binders I found this, and it touched my soul. Sadly, I'm as morbid as I was when I was seven, and I could write better then, too, but this is worth sharing.

Sweet Misery, Behold the Innocent

Sweet tears of misery, beholder of all evil, slayer of the innocent
Alas, it is true
I did it- I committed the sin
I left my mind in evils time, yet it affects me not
Its clear as day, I left heavens gaze

Sweet tears of joy, beholder of heaven, slayer of evil
Alas, it is true
You did it- you committed the sin
You rejected me, you let me go
So be it! I’ll do the same

I’ll let you go
I’ll let you fall into the flames
When you need me most, I’ll do what you did
I’ll be vengeful
I’ll show you no mercy to your pleas

Because I know you would watch my death
In my head I hear you scream
You will get what you did to me
Sweet misery, behold the innocent

you put a lot of emotion behind this
and that is what makes poetry, poetry!
Good job!
I can't wait to read more!
