The Tear

I marvel on a tears display
A muse that fills my head
Of all the passions brought to play
The recipe of wed.

How much of each or more of one
Compose the salty clear.
And why the mix when all was done
Collected in a tear.

Emotions clearly is the flame
That simmers it in plight
The choir sings of joy or blame
To bring about its bite

Shapes into elliptic splendor
When pregnant full and ripe
In spite of the source or gender
And gone in just one swipe.

Enough have fallen human dwell
To put out all the flames of hell

Ah yes, Sy...my throat started to clench just at the thought of the many shed by humanity, for reasons that go beyond our count...

JM,
I'll meet you on the mountain top
Where tears are frozen on the spot.
And we will skee to valleys free
And only stop for raspberry tea.
For you have magic in your word
The sweetest that I've ever heard.

~Butterflies Dont Cry~

They say that butterflies dont cry
but that tis only a pretty poetic lie
I've seen the glisten fall from their emerald eyes
I've heard the sadness in their sorrow's sighs

It takes an angel's touch to calm their fears
an angel's voice to make their pain disappear
an angel's promise to last beyond forever's years
an angel's love to baptize them in Heaven's Tears

Forgiveness reflected in love's understanding eyes
grant thee luna wings upon which to fly
fly free ... fly high ... kiss the moon ... touch the sky
Tis there, where the angels sigh ... and butterflies never again cry.

JM
