Nothing lasts forever Promises break before too long... The only thing that never Goes away Is the pain Of being wronged. All my life I've sought The second half of me You were everything, I thought, You made yourself out to be... Not once did I question That your eyes told the Truth... Mark, you could make me cry here. I'm sorry this one woman did this to you. It happens all too often to everyone, but it hurts each time like it is the only time. You wrote this well. Ron: painful but enlightening. For all the unpleasant truths discovered, I don't regret it and have become better for it. There is now a well of inspiration from which to draw and much wisdom to share with others. (I'm not sure about the melody for this one, yet, but at the same time, I'm in no hurry to put it to music right now.) Thanks for the comments.
