Free, the dream within, The tears in dried eyes, That are still waiting— Free, the dream within, The stars high above, For you, they are shining— Free, the dream within, You who are now waiting, Will spread those wings— Free, the dream within, The voice from heaven, Never stops singing— Free, the dream within, The love inside you, Is guiding you— Free, the dream within, To the land of promise, Never give up trying— Free, the dream within, On this land of darkness, We know we are still hoping— Free, the dream within, For tomorrow, we will never stop— Singing. |

Hi everyone, My thanks to all who shared their time with me by reading it... i personally enjoyed writing this one cuz of its simplicity in form and its spiritual "bass n' treble". The title is an allusion to the ending song of the movie "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within", anyone saw the connection with the poem? (hint: *eight* stanzas)  |
