leaflets of passions unfurl

making hidden feelings swirl

and poets are lifted in dreaming's swift tide,
inhaling salt air, their feelings can't hide

i'm dreaming of a kiss.

tucked inside my heart

raging from within

My lips do passion's art

painting with pleasure a moment's soft touch

desire consuming...wanting so much

i long to give in but fear stays my hand...
conflicting emotions i try to understand.

a swirl of thoughts, emotion just pools,
temptation of lips, eyes so like jewels.

priceless visions do dance amiss
footfalls warn of the dreaming mists

awake awake to the love we have found...
no more to our dreams must we be bound

for if by chance this love proves to be true...
let me wake up to the dream that is you.

I just wanted to say "thanks" to my fellow writers. I am pleasantly surprised by how well this little experiment turned out... an interesting blend of talent and style. This was fun!
