Quietude
~*Marge Tindal*~

When quiet spills across the meadow
seeking souls surrendering to the search
we must be still so it can enter

Quiet surrounds without confounding
encompassing our spirits in listening
For only by listening can we hear
the quietude of knowing

Whys are not answered
because we think we are ready
For only when quiet finds us listening
does it engage us in knowing

Knowing skips joyously over green meadows
in wealth of wisdom for sharing

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

This is a great poem. You put a lot of thought into it. only when we are still and stop asking do the answers come to us.

Do not fear going forward slowly,
Fear only standing still.

Beautiful, and coincidence...I wrote of this today too   and only in the quiet do we find that we knew the answers all along.  Marge, this was fantastic knowledge for all.

Shadow~
Thank you for liking this piece.

Vicky~
You know I have been so churned up
over the events at Big Mountain, Arizona,
that I had to be still so that the voice of quiet could tell me what active part I needed to take.
I gather now the 'Rainbow Warriors' from across the world ...
we go in knowing what we must do.

Seymour~
I find such peace in the meadow-of-my-mind.
The retreat is serenity to me.

MarkVSheldon~
Thank you so much.

Mysteria~
The message to Vicky~ is also meant for you.
Thank you both for all you do.

Karilea~
Thank you for hearing the song.

INot2B~
I am glad the wind blew this one your way.

Rascalx~
So very pleased to see that you enjoyed it.

Martie~
In order to be of any good to the people,
I sometimes have to shout to be heard.
But people's lives hang in the balance at Big Mountain ...
and I must temper my outrage with systematic knowing of an action plan to assist them.

FlutterWings~
Thank you so much for hearing this piece.

Logan~
I must share ...
The message to Vicky~ is also to you.
Thank you for your assistance.

Peace~

Seems you realize that knowledge comes from listening.
I wrote The Mountains Say Nothing, for the same reasons you write here, but could barely touch with my mind what you have wonderfully expressed in this beautiful poem.

Hugs,
Deb

I read your 'The Mountains Say Nothing' ...
and you expressed the silence very nicely.

Knowing is found in the quiet...

Hi Marge,

Wonderfully thought provoking, I am very familiar with quietude, it's when I bring harmony back into my soul, very much enjoyed and will be keeping this it's a treasure for sure.
