enlightened

She has enlightened me,
don't ask me how,
by taking my ignorance and arrogance
and turning it around.

I see things now
that I never saw before.
It is as if
someone has opened a door.

And though I do not know
everything I see,
yet that such a thing could happen
is something good.

This is a gift
unintended
and so she will not know
or even remember
the one word she said.

It is such a common thing.
I will not be forgetting.
The puzzle is unraveling.
And so I write this song
for her.

Very nice, mirror man! I think the best gifts that we give to others are the ones that we don't even realize that we are giving at the time.

The music was an interesting but contrasting piece to the poem itself....

enjoyed both!

She is a lucky woman to envoke such feelings within you.  For music is really a series of thoughts searching for words to express them.  Nice one, mirror man.

All writing comes

Denise -- yes, out of the blue, dropped at my feet, so to speak.

Sunshine -- thank you.  It was supposed to sound exciting.  I'm working on that (the contrast).

Wolf -- thank you, but it's not like that.  She doesn't even know me.  She's just a very good person.

VAS -- sounds almost religious the way you say it.  I'll have to go to confession now (I'm laughing).

Thank you all very much.

Interesting multi-media presentation. I certainly understand the emotions in the poem. The true mark of healthy emotions being the finding, or clairification of one's self.

Intersting wav composition also.

excellent. . .

it would appear that you are indeed what your title says. . .
