Terse,
this verse,
no time,
to rhyme,
things to do,
must bid adieu.
Oh, what the heck,
I'll take a sec,
write down a thought,
see what I've got.
No words appear,
a poet's fear,
paper's bare,
nothing's there.
No light,
no write,
my thoughts unpenned,
unglorious end.

Sigh,
bye.

"my thoughts unpenned,
unglorious end."

This line is really wonderful.....(as Martie pinted out) .......
An enjoyable read

Me too.
I'm blue.
Can't write
my plight
so I sigh
goodbye
with you instead...
back to bed!!!

my stars
and bars
what's said
muse dead
surely not
it's just hot
somewhere
out there
but here
let's cheer
it's cool
don't drool
my words
in herds
and hoards
of chords
do fly
pass by
and stick
quite thick
on page
don't rage

goodness, it's hard to find the steps to get off this train!

what you said
what we dread
white on white
voids fill night
