Time passes slowly
Creeping like a caterpillar
Moving across the ground
I’m ready to depart
When will it come?
The passing of time
Here I wait.... I’m ready to go

either you're waiting on a date or you're awfully young.  The older you get the faster time goes by, Christmases are only days apart.  The only things far apart, at this age, are paydays.

but then, again, paydays have alwasys been far apart

Time feels like this for me on occassion. (Even though I am well into middle age)
When I am in the hospital, or waiting for test results...time drags.

I think this has appeal to everyone in different stages of their lives.

sometimes, you have to get time to come to you. . . not wait for it. . .

I like this one. . . it's short but says much. . .

Not too young! I wrote this at 4am while I was waiting for time to pass for my vacation...I have a tendency to anticipate flights anxiously!  lol...it was a fun one and after reading it I decided that it could mean so much so I decided to post it!  Thanks for reading

Jeen,
I believe you are right, this does have appeal for all different reasons...it's amazing how we have a tendency to wait for time instead of using it!  Thanks for reading
