People come and people go
Some we never really know
They pass us on by
As we sit wondering why

Others leave their mark
With a brilliant spark
On the surface of your heart
Branding each little part

No one can explain
True friendship's vein
How some of us are blessed
A little more than the rest

We need not understand
Why they offer their hand
Acceptance is a must
To establish our trust

Just enjoy the unity
Of the bond you'll never see
In our hearts it slowly grows
As love continually flows

It's a mystery of life
Easing daily strife
To know someone cares
In a way that is rare

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

Why they offer their hand'

No one deserves a friend like you do, Jennifer, and not many have extended themselves to others and this forum as you have in grace, style and dignity.  Few know the beautiful woman inside of you and hopefully they see it in your words for all to read.  I'm proud of you.

I love your thoughts in this LoneWolf ... establishing trust and accepting wonderful friendships with those we encounter through life ... it's an amazing thing when we  really take the time and think about it. Thank you for these lovely ponderings, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

LW, very gentle smile, the depths of your thoughts are only as beautiful as the words you write so very well

Marge: Thank you much.  I just try to write what I see and know.  Friendship is something I know very well.  For I have been very blessed in that area.

Kathleen: You are very kind, sweetheart. You know more than most, that what you read and see here is me.  Anyone who wants to get to know me only need read my poetry.  It's all in there.  I appreciate your kind words.  My heart is smiling big at making you proud of me.  I love you!

Kit: It is truly amazing, I agree.  You're welcome for my pondering.  I'm happy you enjoyed them!

Cindi: Thank you!

Sunshine: Reaching out to another in their time of need takes a special person who is kind, patient, and loving to really take the time to understand.  The rewards for that are endless in my eyes.  Thank you.

VAS: That is the key.  No need to ask why, just accept it.

Logan: Thank you very much.  You have read a lot of my writing since your arrival and I think you have seen the real me in there.  For that, I thank you kind sir.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

i have grown rather doubtful of friendships recently and this seems to provide a much needed alternative to my negative outlook...

thank you

I, for one, count you as a friend and, from the looks of it, you are wealthy in friendship at Passions

Finally fixed :)
