In a corporeal internship...

0 posted 2001-07-13 06:24 PM

Miles and mountains stand between us...
With judgmental points of view
Yet, despite our circumstances,
My love can't be kept from you.

Time and Faith are on our side
As we take each day in stride
Following our hearts with pride
What we have won't be denied...
           Because:

We were meant to be
When the say "you can't" then it means "you must!"
You were meant for me
In you I trust
Because
One day, we'll be free
And belong to no one else but each other
We've found Destiny
In one another...

And our story still continues --
Drama no one else believes...
Reality's what you and I choose
When the heart's true, it achieves

All the lessons that we're learning
All the trials we're put through...
Keep Desire's fires burning
Soon we'll know just what to do...
           Because:

We were meant to be
When the say "you can't" then it means "you must!"
You were meant for me
In you I trust
Because
One day, we'll be free
And belong to no one else but each other
We've found Destiny
In one another...

Mark .... This reminds me very much of a wonderful little story by Stephen Vincent Benet called "Too Early Spring". I think that you would enjoy it. Anyway, thanks for this.  Bob

From what I've read of your other posts, I can see that perhaps you can, Jeremy.  Hope it inspires you, and I thank you for taking the time to read and reply.  Good luck to you in your situation.

Well, I hate to be repetitive, but I've been here too. I like the positive determination that fate will not keep you apart.
Also sounds like a song. Whats the tune?

Funny how we all share the "same" experiences even though they are all naturally different...  yet another classic paradox, Sandra.  These lyrics fit a melody in the style of one of my all-time favorite groups called Alphaville -- from their first album entitled "Forever Young".  It's very 80's Euro/new-wave and saturated in melodies, harmonies, and beauty (if you enjoy that style, I'd HIGHLY recommend this album...  it's the one album I can think of that I've heard HUNDREDS of times and it never gets old!).  So, this melody is higher tempo, positive and up-lifting, and 100% electronic, as it stands.  Thanks for the read and reply.
