If I could write this
on my knees,
in prayer--my heart
soft in her plea,
every atom split in two--
that's all that I would want from you.

And if my tingling
lips would stop,
I'd damn them,
from my very mouth...
And should my eyes
choose not to cry--
my breath would weep
within each sigh...

How shall I cry?
Explain this pain?
How give my all
and still remain?

Why is it
you're an inch away?
How can I leave?
How can I stay?

Sweeti, I see you banging your head on a stone wall here, and I am right next to you. Starting to get a headache myself. So many hard to resolve things. This is so good.

Wow, Serenity.  This was a powerful write.  You ask some very valid questions.  I wish I knew the answers.  Look within and the way will reveal itself to you.  You still rock!

by the grace of God.

sometimes there is a sheet of plexiglass there and, although only an inch away, what's on the other side is untouchable....

Ah, Serenity-
This one runs VERY deep..as do you.
I could feel the struggle in every word.
   Wonderfully expressed emotions, my friend.
