Calling

If you find me, lead me to life
And if I refuse, hold my hand
If tears run freely from my soul
Look me in the eye honestly
And tell me you are my friend

If you fail to make me happy
It simply means you're not around
When I need you the most
I've been waiting for so long
To feel the strength of your presence
But the days are endless
And the nights eternities

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

We all need a friend to lean on during those rough spots in life...otherwise the days and nights do seem endless.  Great poem

Smittten,
Thank you, the waiting is very painful

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

the poem is well  done and heart felt...it's a dilemma of many often and all now and then...but happiness can only come from deep within

keep calling, calling for your happiness to find you if you can't dig it out of the depths of your belly or your heart.

You know..I read this two different ways. I read it on a spiritual level and a love level. Does that make sense? I enjoyed it either way.
