It was a bolt of lightning from the sky
Like the glare from a gilded eagle's eye.
I was brought down,
I was held down,
I was brought down by a look from you,
And all the riches I took from you
No more will I wander this world alone,
No more roaming without a home.

Because your deep green eyes captured me
and took me to the sea they made.
Reminded me how to forget
Down at the lake where Rainbows fade.

You weren't the first by I can
Guarantee you'll be the
Last bolt of lightning from the sky
Like the glare from a gilded eagle's eye.
I was brought down,
I was held down,
I was brought down by a look from you,
And all the riches I took from you
No more will I wander this world alone,
No more roaming without a home.

Because your deep green eyes captured me
and took me to the sea they made.
Reminded me how to forget
Down at the lake where Rainbows fade.

"...apathy isn't it...we can do something. Ok, so flower power didn't work, so what?  We start again." John Lennon

Love can sometimes be like magic, but magic can sometimes..just be illusion
