To all the losses we have..gentle smile
----------------------------------------------------

I sadly gaze upon your grieving face,
wanting to wipe tears, leaving not a trace.
Becoming the breeze, I whisper your name,
telling you to realize life is only a game.
We had our love, we had such fun,
now I had to go home; I had to run.

It always is sad at the end of the day,
when we had to leave and stop our play.
I only have left to rest a while.
I’ll be waiting on our path, wearing a smile,
Then we will rejoin, beginning once again.
for never could I, leave my best friend.

I left you volumes, filled with memories shared,
in the library of the heart, where I know you care,
Some will be wrong, and say I have gone,
but no, my friend, I’m only writing a new song.
One we will sing when we again will play
for the game will restart on another day.

Like a cool breeze...very comforting.

Logan, I am lost for words and thank you so much!  I shall stand tall when I read this tomorrow as this is exactly what she would have said, you are indeed a wonderful poet and a great friend. Thank you for tickling my heart, and the game will indeed begin on another day

Logan~
This is so lovely and comforting~
I reckon our thoughts flowed along the same breezes tonight~
Doesn't surprise either of us, huh ?

Thank you for your gentleness, oh guardian~

You know. This is part of what I'm needing tonight. More beauty comes from you every day, Gentle Warrior.   Do I detect a hint of meaning of moving from one life to the next in this?

Very nice, we are never truely gone just out of sight.

...a feeling of that in-between state of sleep and awake where you could swear you heard somebody whispering softly in your ear and you were almost sure you saw them, but you again close your eyes...  Very comforting thoughts incarnating in a virtual zephyr...

I must say, Logan, your words always leave an impression upon my heart.  This one has a gentle ache, yet a soothing quality resonates from each line.  We shall meet up with them again one day.  For they await our arrival.  Wonderfully penned.

Logan, I lost it in email as you know, and didn't get a chance to read it there, but did read it later at home with a group of Jenna's close friends around, and know this, they loved it, and it warmed their souls - hugs, Sharon x o

Logan-
I don't know how this got past me originally,
but I'm certainly happy to have found it today.
This is so beautifully penned, and filled
with such tender and comforting thoughts.
   Thank you for sharing this..

I don't know how I missed this before but I did and I'm so glad I found it now.  This piece of writing was so heartwrenching, I felt the hurt and the pain of love in this.
Masterfully written!! Take care.....Sue
